Pros

The only pro is having a paycheck. If you're lucky, the people you work with might be nice. Two words left.

Cons

There is a lot of distrust among the departments and levels of management. There are people put in place to snitch on fellow employees. Employees are treated with no respect. Management are constantly yelling at employees in front of colleagues and customers. Employees are fired without warning and replaced with someone willing to do the same job for ~$10/hour. One location has a leaky roof(rains on workstations and machines), no reliable heating or AC, and extremely poor restroom/dining conditions. Rats, mice, roaches, and wasps are very common. Some employees have been with the company for many years and have never received a raise. The pay is very low and not even remotely close to industry standards. Many of us believe our time sheets/paychecks are being tampered. Each paycheck is very inconsistent, despite having a regular schedule. Be prepared to do the same job/task over again because mistakes are constantly made in all departments(sales/csr/design/printing). Hiring quality employees does not seem to be a priority. Your job description means nothing. You will be doing whatever they want you to do. You will be overworked. There is no question about that. Benefits and incentive are basically nonexistent. There are benefits, but you will likely use most of your earnings to pay for them. The only thing I receive from the company besides my paycheck is the $30 dollar Safeway gift card that are handed out at Thanksgiving. Every machine is old, in poor condition, and outputs inferior quality prints. Most of the software is very old(over a decade in some cases). PC/Mac workstations are also mostly obsolete. I could go on, but I think you get it by now.

Pros

IF you are lucky and have good direct coworkers, you can get by. That will only make being at ABC bearable, not good by any means.

Cons

Upper management will work you to the bone and toss you out without a second thought. You will be asked to do things outside of your job description and then will be reprimanded when you do it wrong or slowly. Hours and pay are inconsistent and you constantly feel like there's something fishy going on with your paycheck, but of course they don't answer anything directly enough for you to figure it out. Pay also does not correspond to the amount of work you will do. They would rather get bad work quickly and cheaply, then wait or pay for quality work. No room for growth at all. Upwards movement is impossible. They would rather get rid of you and get a cheap, entry level employee than pay more and promote. If you don't know what a micromanaged (and poorly micromanaged, at that) company looks like-- ABC is the best example. CEO needs everything run by him and if it does not meet a "certain standard of excellence" (vague way of saying he can choose to not accept something for no reason) you could get fired. CEO will also scream and scream and scream all day and all night at whoever is in his way. No rhyme or reason, just screaming.

Pros

-Great group of people -Great and interesting work -Company used to be ok to work at (like 8 years ago)

Cons

-Long hours and no comp time, pay cut when company is doing well and if financially sound -Laughable benefits, the worse in the market -Management trying to squeeze as much work out of you without giving anything back -Run like a mom and pop shop. No clear and long term vision or goals. Penny pinchers.
