Pros

As long as you keep the client happy and your site runs smoothly then no one bothers you and you basically manage yourself.

Cons

Low pay, no performance reviews, they make you feel small by hiring people who know nothing about printing and pay them more than you and make them your boss and you get to train them. Just read some of the reviews and you can see who is educated and who isn't. If you are American, you are at the bottom of the food chain. I don't think Medi knows what is going on in his own company sometimes. If you have to work at the local print shop....find a new job!

Pros

- I have never been given a hard time about taking PTO, and, if there is a schedule conflict, they work with me to find a more suitable date. - There is no micro-management involved in being a FM Manager. Though, I hear otherwise from those working in one of their Print Shops. - Pretty much an 8-5 M-F job. Some overtime (not often). Weekend work is very, very rare. - The work isn't very hard. You do not require a college degree to work here. There is a small learning curve as you go along, but as long as you have strong customer service skills, you should be fine.

Cons

- No payraise in 4 years; received 7% pay cut in January 2009. Only given one offical review during this time, with no raise. And I had to ask numerous times to get even that. - Little room for advancement. If they like you in your position, you will stay there forever until you leave the company for another opportunity. - The people judging your work day-to-day are people that are not employed by ABC (a FM Manager oversees the printing of a client company, so you are considered a "vendor", or "contractor" with the company you are working out of). If you are doing a good job, you know this by the fact that you will never hear from ABC Imaging at all, which I guess is good, but then again, this is probably why I don't get regular evaluations. They only talk to you when something is generally wrong. - Salaries are quite low. Would recommend that you have a part-time job to supplement your income.
