      Pros

      Small company, majority of people are nice.

      Cons

      They prefer to promote from the outside. Quite a bit of micromanaging. Tend to pay on the low end and the really talented people they hire tend to leave after a year or so. They sometimes hire in bulk of manufacturing people knowing that only 30% will be kept after a few months. Travel policy is in gray-area.

      The prescription plan is decent. The manufacturing employees are very friendly and easy to work with.

      The role of a Mechanical Designer (or drafter) experiences high turnover rates due to several issues. The work environment is toxic and perpetually noisy, which affects productivity. Additionally, the expectations set are often unrealistic, and the department's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) lack clarity and logic. If your performance fails to meet the unrealistic expectations, you may be placed on a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP). This plan allows only 30 days to demonstrate improvement; otherwise, you will be terminated.
