An absolute lack of supervision at some locations. I haven't seen my boss in almost three years.

Cons

Lack of supplies, no training, very expensive insurance, no safety standards, hostile environments often. zero chance of promotions.

Pros

The work is not too hard. It's 40 hours per week and you get paid every 2 weeks. You will rarely see your Supervisor.

Cons

You will rarely see your Supervisor. Pay is minimum wage and no paid sick days or vacation days. Christmas and New Years were my only paid holidays. No raises unless you are promoted, and ABM promotes the worst employees! Only Supervisors get benefits and decent pay. Constantly understaffed, ABM tries to make 1 person do the work of 3.

flexible hours, a lot of good people who work hard, get to work at many of the top companies in the area as a service vendor

Cons

most of upper management could care less about employees, and in a service industry, that is not the right approach. lack of development for employees seeking to move up, extreme work loads and no support staff, local manager does not think it is his job to care about employees, very little teamwork, so big that most employees are just a number, and are treated as such...easily replaceable and not valued
