Pros

Working with children and seeing them progress and grow was the best part of the job.

Cons

The work environment was positive in the beginning; however, over time, there appeared to be increasing issues with micromanagement and unprofessional conduct from management. There was also ongoing confusion regarding the GTD program, including inconsistent communication and frequently changing policies. Concerns raised with management were not always received constructively and, at times, seemed to result in retaliatory behavior. Additionally, the center often appeared to operate beyond capacity, which contributed to frequent illness among BT staff. The company's attendance and PTO policies were also challenging, as employees were required to use PTO when calling out sick. If PTO hours were unavailable, employees were expected to make up missed hours or risk removal from the GTD program, which affected your hours and pay.
