Pros

I can only comment on working in the Dallas area as a Center Manager (corporate is in Irving) - This job looks good on a resume, and If you put the work into learning the ins and outs of the job, you can really learn a lot. Plus once you understand the work, it's so easy. Most of the time the stores are slow so you have some personal time to make calls, do school work, or even other non-productive activities. The benefits are great, insurance starts after 90 days, a week of vacation after 6 months.

Cons

It is very, very hard to move up within the company. I worked for a year to promote and was led on but never given the opportunity. You are also stuck behind bullet proof glass in a small area all day and cannot leave until your (typically) 11 hour shift is done. After one year your maximum raise is 10 cents, yes seriously, 10 cents. Two years was 50 cents. And they don't give raises outside of annual reviews, period.

Pros

I work in a very busy center, & like the fact that even though we typically work 11-12 hour shifts by ourselves with no set breaks and or formal lunches, my day flies by.

Cons

Due to the fact that you are so busy, you may not have time to go to the bathroom and or get something to eat during your 11-12 hour shift, which has caused others medical problems as a result. Corporate speaks big about their re-structuring plans, store remodeling hopes & how employee safety is their top priority. Bottom line is they do the bare minimum to be legal & don't spend a dime if they don't have to.
