Pros

+ working with kids = fulfilling and fun! + love office sessions because you can feel the passion and care from other employees as well and it's a supportive environment where I feel encouraged to ask questions/advice from just about anybody + communication is getting better, with addition of Lua messaging app for iPads (as opposed to in the past, would probably have to leave voicemail messages back-and-forth to communicate or be lucky to call when both BI and supervisor are free) + supervisors responsive to questions about goals/programs and always willing to explain strategies or give advice on how to run clients' programs + overall company atmosphere is fun and outgoing and you can tell that a lot of people are passionate for what they do and really care about their clients

Cons

- Cancellations from clients could get annoying, especially when on same day or even en route to session - Pay is okay , but not as competitive as other, similar jobs at other companies - Part-time position so hours could be limited, also unless you're willing to pick-up a lot of sub cases, if a client cancels during the week it's just a loss of hours and $$ for that week

Pros

Working with clients that you know you are making an impact and changing their life. Some of the staff are truly amazing people.

Cons

Poor communication no one really knows what they are doing and they just make it up as they go. A lot of favoritism and politics very unnecessary when we work with a special population this sends a bad message to employees and parents alike. High turnover rate. Pay and benefits low compared to other ABA companies

Pros

- clinical recognition - opportunity for growth - Monthly CEUs for BCBAs - lots of opportunities for collaboration between master level supervisors and BCBAs - BCBA supervision opportunities - in-depth training process - Interventionist monthly recognition - positive and helpful front office staff. - paperless data - clinic based sessions for various age groups - opportunities for interventionist growth within the company.

Cons

- average pay scale Given current pay scale for credentialed supervisors, the pay could be higher. Mainly due to the cost of living.
