Pros

Good company with tremendous global opportunity. Has a good reputation in the payment space. Great place to gain knowledge of payments. Knowledgeable and friendly staff.

Cons

Senior management team that is not cohesive and in constant flux. This culture is actually encouraged by the CEO who seems to be more comfortable dividing the team and restructuring every 9-12 months so he can feel secure about his position.

Great Company, But Struggling

Pros

The people I worked with were top-notch in their field, and most everyone I worked with treated me with a level of respect, professionalism and plain old common courtesy which had been lacking at previous employers. Their commitment to their people is exceptional; even when there have been layoffs, many of those laid off have been rehired in other positions or other divisions at a later time. The breadth and types of products & solutions offered, coupled with the international scope of the organization, and the genuine commitment to excellence for the products and customer service, make this company a winner.

Cons

For 9 years, I have seen the company steadily laying off people, bringing many of their office functions, development and delivery functions, and marketing functions to the absolute bare shoestring budget. There have been at least seven sets of layoffs within the organization in my years with them. While it is understandable that every company has had to make cuts over the past several years, I believe this company may be struggling as it attempts to enter into markets that are currently saturated; often with their own products. It is a concern that the company may go on a hiring binge, but then simultaneously be phasing people out, eliminating products or entire divisions, while still being without a clearly stated value proposition that will ensure long-term stability and/or growth.
