Pros

The company still has good potential and has some of the brightest people in the industry so it could once again become the highly motivated organisation that won and retained Customers for decades with world class products. At some point the shareholders will wise up to the antics of Heasely and path of destruction he has brought about for the sake of short-term gains.

Cons

The company is still rolling out the wave of change that started with systematic demise of any members of Management or Staff that did not agree with the new direction of ACI regardless of how well they were regarded by ACI Customers. Bureaucracy has taken over the company with over engineered processes and forms that do not add to the bottom line for the share holders.

Pros

The company has a very Impressive global client base and is a key player in the electronic payments software space. There are many very experienced, talented, hard-working employees who make a difference.

Cons

Too short-term focused; frequently sacrifice client saltisfaction for short-term revenue gains; too much 'stick' and not enough 'carrot'...both with clients and employees.

Pros

You are working with some of the most experienced people in the payments industry. Experience at ACI gives employees both real-world experience with large banking/financial shops as well as a great background in the financial/payments world. Many opportunities for global travel. Though there have been a number of changes, it is still a reasonably casual work environment, and people are encouraged to seek out the help and mentoring of the more experienced people. Salaries are above average for the location (at least in Omaha). Competitive benefits package.

Cons

Senior management has taken a number of steps recently in late 2008 to put more processes in place around the business. Some of these steps were definitely needed, but they have been done speedily and in a disorganized way, leaving people on the floor confused about their roles and ultimately their worth to the company. At this time, February 2009, the pressure to put in long hours, more than 50, is great. Hopeful that this will change after some of the recent changes settle down. Because of that, all of that great experience is not being put in the areas where they can help the most.
