Excellent work life balance. Ability to connect directly with executives making communication open and transparent. Strong culture of ownership and autonomy - you are trusted to do your work. Ability to dress to your client. Leadership and teams are approachable and supportive. Community focused mission. Stable and well run organization with a high level of collaboration across different departments.

Cons

Some processes take longer than necessary. Multiple layers of approval. Workload can fluctuate.

Pros

Prior to the retirement of multiple key upper management roles, ACNB was one of the best banks I ever worked for. Fair work and management that treated the employees like humans.

Cons

Starting this year, there was a marked culture shift to efficiency over employee well being and team cohesion. PTO is not respected, employees are bullied and threatened into resigning or risk being written up. Active micromanaging and turning teams against each other.
