Pros

6% 401k matching, on-campus nurse, close to mall.

Cons

A new CEO who haphazardly reorganized company departments. Creating chaos in previous well oiled processes. That CEO is now out but I think I continue to look for another job as the security I once felt has waned.

Thank you for your feedback. Our company experienced a lot of changes in 2018 and 2019 at a very fast pace. Although 2020 has been a bit chaotic in general, we've worked hard to create/provide a steady environment and resume a more "normal operations" pace. I hope this has helped restore a little of your confidence. Please consider reaching out to your manager or to Human Resources with concerns. We strive to be a great place to work and want to know where we can improve.

Pros

I enjoyed working here for about 6 years. Good friends and good times. We helped alot of ministries. I wish I was strong enough to stay. In most of my time there, it was a good company!

Cons

It started to change fast for me last year. It became all about what the new president thinks now. No team really. The only question was is if he will like it or not. I just had to leave because my heart was pounding out of my chest everyday in worry about losing my job or being treated bad. He likes some people and doesn’t like most others. If he doesn’t like you then you better watch out. I didn’t want what happened to others to happen to me. We were all in defense mode, even my manager couldn’t protect us. I should have been stronger I guess but I didn’t want to be next on the bad list so I left. I don’t think people should have to fight for their jobs because of one new person’s opinion who doesn’t even know you. Managers should be trusted to know their people the best. Personally I just couldn’t stomach the new ways the company was being run. My health needed to come first.

Former best place to work

Pros

ACS used to be one of the best places to work in all of SC. We won an award for it! The people, the culture, the leadership, the churches. We all worked together to be the best. Full of honest passion and dedication for ministry, each other, and growing our business.

Cons

Now we are becoming like most every place. Politics, self protection, distrust, favoritism, secretism, silos, and praising the emperor’s new clothes. Passion is leaving. Apathy grows. Morale is at an all time low.
