Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I would like to address some of the main points you raised.
First, regarding the layoff you mentioned, earlier this year, we did have a small layoff due to reorganizing responsibilities, which unfortunately led to some position eliminations. While these decisions are always difficult, they were made with careful consideration of the overall business needs. I’m sorry to hear that you felt your severance package was not adequate. We designed our severance packages to exceed industry benchmarks, and our goal was to provide support to employees during the transition.
You also raised concerns about our DEI initiatives. We require all employees to undergo training on discrimination, bias, equity, inclusion, and microaggressions because we believe in fostering a workplace where these values are understood and practiced. A diverse workforce is crucial to our success, as it allows us to explore different perspectives and ideas. If you feel our DEI practices have led to any form of reverse discrimination, I would appreciate hearing more about your experience so we can investigate further. Please feel free to reach out to anyone on the HR team.
Regarding your point about denied vacation and PTO time, this is not a standard practice within the company. While there may be instances where project deadlines make time off challenging, such situations are rare, and we strive to accommodate employees' needs whenever possible. I also want to note that any unused vacation time was paid out upon your departure.
Finally, I want to address your concern about a lack of direction. Our leaders share corporate goals and communicate updates on our progress toward current and future goals during quarterly company-wide meetings. We will take your feedback into account to improve our communication efforts moving forward.
Thank you again for your input. We are committed to continuously improving and will use your feedback to better support our employees.
