Pros

Every week is different, rapidly changing environment, working with car dealers ams brokers can be fun. Sale Day!

Cons

Compensation plan is a blanket statement of nearly attainable budget goals. Smaller markets get zero accommodation vs. larger markets that are not as sensitive to small changes (weather, holidays, etc.) on auction day. This kills your numbers, chance for bonus, and makes you look unproductive. Comp plan changes annually and gets more and more unattainable based on market changes, participating dealers, competition intruduced in market, and supporting staff loosing your deals (hourly comp folks). Good people always leave.

Pros

Coworkers are cool- for the most part. Work life balance is actually excellent. You don't take your work home and the hours are great.

Cons

Management is absolutely terrible and clueless; money is not what they say you will make; leadership gives you a sales quota but will not be able to explain why that is your goal. Also, there is very little room for advancement. Management seems to be intimidated by rockstars on their team and decisions are made based on that fear.

Pros

MInd numbingly easy work. Free food if was left over in the lane. No real pluses to mention.mostly bad for me.

Cons

Too many to mention. No job security. Worst job I ever had. Quit after 8 months. The cliques and gossiping was like high school. No real training. Seemed like managers were flying by the seat of their pants hoping to not get canned all the while causing conflict between coworkers to ensure their job. Taking matters into your own hand and being creative frowned upon.
