Pros

Somehow this company has managed to have some really great people here. If anyone stays in their position, it's generally because of the people they actually work with on a daily.

Cons

There is no career development here whatsoever. They will post most positions to internal staff to come across as an equal opportunity employer however, the candidate is premeditated 99% of the time. The do not promote employees here butwill create a position for certain people without letting others apply. Every month the goals change and there is no consistent goal or form for where the company wants to go. It is a public company and any way they can minimize cost, they will (e.g give one employee the duty of two positions). The concern is never for the employees or their success. The company sends out newsletters of how great it is doing yet, don't share it in any way, shape or form with the people holding up the pyramid. Seems to be a trend to freeze wage increases every second year. If their is a wage increase, it rarely surpass 2%. Should you be able to successfully get a higher leveled position, they will offer 10% from your current role rather than pay what the role is actually worth. Majority learn that eventually you need to leave for a bit and come back to make sense of it. Best part, executives get a great bonus most years putting their effort with only a few people vs the employees on the floor who communicate with all of the companies clientele which in turn actually brings success. When working for this employer, you must be accountable for every moment. If you don't work well being micromanaged, certainly don't apply here.
