Pros

It is not the only company hiring,so the job you signed up for is yours to excel at or do poorly because you are unhappy with the management,Management is always praising the true hard workers, you know the ones that are loyal to the company because of their work ethics they volunteer to come in early and stay late, truly a family environment with the supportive feedback, like families will celebrate you on special occasions, like Birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas,4th of July, same concept from a company standpoint, they can't celebrate you every time you do something that is already your job to do,and if you go above and beyond once or twice in a Blue moon you probably won't get a pat on the back its not because they don't recognize you or your efforts its because we are in a repetitive services based business if you do your job CONSISTENTLY week in and week out you are and always will be recognized and rewarded,I have also worked at Manheim's 4-5 different locations they are not better or worse in comparison to how an employee is treated the only thing they rated better in is drawing a profit out of the wholesale automotive division and innovative in the investment of technological changes that are foreseen to be neccesary, their employee morale is currently lower than the current presidents approval rating,it's all about the double in 5 goal for COX the parent company of Manheim, not a bad goal to try and achieve but at what cost to the employee who makes your senior management vision a true story while the big bosses take all of the glory and Bonuses, pay it forward people it will just make it easier to double the double in 5 goal in 10 years and so forth, remember attitude reflects leadership

Cons

Tasks implemented down to local Auctions from corporate level seem to not correlate with what the true nature of the operation of an auction does week in and week out, each manager has to tediously track employee production on a daily basis that seems redundant since the goal is to minimize lost time of productive work task and duties,so when the employee has to track their own productivity guess what the task is now causing more lost time for the department and managers,so in my opinion maybe we spend more time, effort, and money towards training and developing managers to be more effective and efficient in requiring their staff to do their job more effectively and efficiently, and what is done with the information collected from all of this nonsense, the Board and shareholders decide which auction is meeting the business goals that are expected from a publicly traded company,no further training or innovative ideas on how to improve the poor productivity that we so redundantly track day in day out, year in year out?how about web conferencing a bi annual or quarterly employees meeting to give a health update of the business in its current state so the employee stops trying to guess if they will be employed or not by the time the Nov-Dec holidays come, less stressed and happy employees are always more effective and productive at their jobs,REMEMBER ATTITUDE REFLECTS LEADERSHIP
