Carvana bought Adesa and I used to work for Carvana before coming to Adesa. Carvana is a horrible company to work for. Nobody listens to you, nobody is ever treated fairly and they knew my situation as a single mom and having a car that kept breaking down and they pushed harder. And no matter how hard you work and bust your butt to prove yourself thinking you'll move up, it never happens. I was there over a year and got promoted inside and still made the same as a lot attendant and they clearly knew I was struggling financially and really could have used that raise but they turn around and give it to the new kid because they go to the same church and were born with the same golden spoons in their mouths. I was also promoted to a "pilot" bullcrap position as the "Paperwork Specialist" and becuase of that cheap shot from management, I was one of 2 people who got cut in Nashville, TN during their first wave of $1500 layoffs in May of 2022 and guess what that other Nashville employee's job title was?? "Paperwork Specialist" and she was a single mom with a 3 year old who had just given birth to her 2nd child and was on maternity leave when they cut her too. I drove home in tears every day from that job. I can't stress enough just how disgustingly unmanaged and unfairly treated that place is. STAY AWAY FROM CARVANA!!!! Their priorities are all f'd up/non-existent. It's only a matter of time now until the toxicity of Carvana's poor management skills seeps into Adesa and I'll lose the one job I finally found peace and contentment with.
