Not What I Expected

Pros

Good training on how 401k accounts work, good people, chance to work at home sometimes

Cons

No communication, position changed drastically in less than a year from what I was told it would be, more work and less people and no change in pay, new manager and too many changes all at once, some of them make no sense. Outsource customer service to another country which causes a lot of cranky calls to the US call centers and many of our overseas colleagues don't understand the basics of retirement accounts and the US economy/tax system. They are great people, though.

Pros

Position allowed me to work from home & choose my hours like 6-3, 7-4, 8-5. This was a great work/life balance. Training was available remotely. ADP provides lots of resources. I had a manager who built a strong team.

Cons

Requires lots of self-discipline as one can feel isoloated. Job can be stressful. Higher salary or bonus would be a plus.
