Pros

There are a few good people who work here that really do care about your success. PTO (you will need it!). Benefits are okay, but not the best. Decent Salary for TotalSource reps $70-$100k DOE. Make sure to negotiate for $100k minimum because you won’t make any commissions for at least 1 year and you’re worth the money if you can stick it out.

Cons

I had a regrettable experience working at ADP TotalSource. The lack of training and intense pressure for high sales quotas created a toxic environment. You're treated like a mere number on a spreadsheet, with multiple reps competing for the same business in a cutthroat manner. Senior sales professionals swoop in and snatch accounts from your own territory, leaving you demoralized. The turnover rate is alarming, with numerous colleagues quitting or getting fired within a short span. Management's relentless pressure to secure appointments clashes with a market unreceptive to the product. The company's promise falls short as recruiters oversell the job, reminiscent of the used car business in the '80s. Making 200+ dials a week doesn't guarantee meeting quotas, and public embarrassment for not hitting targets is commonplace. The turnover trend is evident on LinkedIn, where many barely last a year. Payroll partners provide meager leads, reluctant to jeopardize their payroll deals by introducing PEO. The industry is oversaturated, and competitors abound, making it a challenging landscape. Customer service is virtually nonexistent, relegating clients to support from overseas. Clients resent attempts to upsell PEO and complain about ignored emails. The recent shift to mandatory in-office work further adds to the discontent. ADP TotalSource turned out to be the worst professional decision, and the struggle is real. Beware of recruitment pitches – it's not an honor; it's a potential career mistake. The company's reputation makes finding another job a challenge, and the overall experience is a far cry from the promises made during recruitment. Avoid it at all costs!
