A joke in poor taste.

Pros

The doors to get in work... If you stand the abuse long enough, there's decent benefits.

Cons

Got to the last day of training, and was fired for asking for time off for a civil lawsuit. Poorly trained i might add, not even getting access to the training programs until last minute(one of which i got access to for one hour). Three times i was scheduled to sit and watch another monitor and it fell through, so everyone got 1.5hrs or so extra time seeing what to expect. Not me, i was thrown on alarms days after we covered any of the material, in many cases, BEFORE covering it... Everyone is confused as to the rules and management is a joke. So disorganized that they made mistakes in pay hiring ALL the recent hires. No one was even aware of the proper dress code for monitoring stations until one week before starting regular shift. Wound up having to buy clothes only to find out i would have been ok without, then fired the day after i find out i have to be in court as a plaintiff, and asking for the time off. Don't discuss politics, or you WILL be blacklisted for not being liberal enough. Was trained by someone who all but admitted he is so far on the left that he is basically a communist. Went off on me when i tried to simply explain an analogy to ANOTHER person. Tells me analogies are useless... So i try to explain that in electronics, they use the analogy of water to explain electricity... He interrupts me and starts ranting about the one percent running the world... Then freaks out when i try to explain that one percent is literally hundreds of thousands of people, in the states, it's millions of people... It's anyone making over 40k essentially. This place is like a high school, it's ludicrously run and i fear ever being in a place protected by this company. MOST of the monitors are untrained new hires or burned out old ones on the verge of quitting. Even their own senior people talk behind management's back, even to new hires... Hardly anyone stays long enough to make it to higher level monitoring and they quit faster than they get trained. I could go on for hours about how poor their security is, or how badly they treat or train people, but why bother wasting more time on this joke of a company. Avoid it if you want to be treated like a human being. Even when they let you go they basically tell you on the spot and escort you out, not even giving you the decency of going to grab your own things.
