No raises, bad benefits, poor company culture
Pros
Big projects, paid straight time overtime
Cons
White male dominated company culture, not a place for minorities or women. Benefits and employee first mindset have gone downhill. The company reports high profits (even in a pandemic) but doesn't compensate the employees for their hard work while corporate leaders still receive millions in stock options and bonuses. Not much room for growth, once you start in one job you tend to get pigeon holed in that niche. The only way to increase your salary (as everyone in the company will tell you) is to leave and come back. Furthermore, reporting incidents of any type of harassment or employee misconduct results in zero consequences. Most women end up leaving after many instances of sexual harassment in the office and on job sites. They know nothing will come from reporting said instances to HR and it's better to leave than to stay and be retaliated against.
