Pros
Many business units that are focused on complete spectrum of project lifecycle from greenfield to greenfield: from site selection, permitting, engineering design, construction, commissioning, O&M to decommissioning and remediation. Unfortunately AECOMs business units to not work nicely with one another.
Cons
Management is way too top heavy and management is a complete mess at AECOM. This company gets very sharky at the top with executives main competition focus being inward. Infighting is the major theme. Due to the top executives constantly inwardly battling they take credit from the external doers in the company by clamoring and running over subordinates external wins. Also top management is not Technical but rather Accountants, Finance and attorneys who really don't understand the details associated with delivery in any form.
