Pros

- lots of opportunities in many locations - competitive pay - competitive benefits - good place to maintain status quo

Cons

1. Company is unable to define employee path for upward mobility. 2. Numerous acquisitions have created a top-heavy corporate structure that seems like more executive overhead than billable staff. 3. Heavy bureaucratic processes. 4. A worthless performance and rewards process that arbitrarily rates performance to average. 5. A huge design firm with multiple business lines, yet forcing design firm practices that don't fit all business lines. 6. Little ability to collaborate outside local team.

Pros

Lots of international opportunities, although not immediately available - you need to network if you want a position outside your current project or office.

Cons

Recently merged with URS, and the cross-business unit personal communication (outside of generic newsletters) is terrible. They need more cross-functional and cross-business unit technical resource management to truly provide a sense of belonging for their employees. DCS supervisors don't care about employees career goals. 3 weeks PTO is not enough.

Pros

Good people with a variety of skill sets. Diverse projects. I can't think of anything else good to say about this company

Cons

Complete chaos and sketchy management. People are just a number and when numbers are down good people get cut but Mike Burke still makes his $18M. People are so scared to get fired that they hoard work. Systems continually change and training of these systems are expected to be on your own time. Most people are required to be 95% billable and management is trying to increase this! When AECOM realized Glassdoor ratings were so low they added a link to the employee survey only if during the internal survey an employee gave a good review.
