Pros

A large company that can expose you to a wide range of projects all the way from local municipal projects to high profile international projects. Being a large company, they have a large talent pool and great mentors to learn from. A great stepping stone to a career somewhere else at a company that will actually pay you what you're worth.

Cons

Being a large company, promotions can be difficult. Leadership treats you as a number, not a person. While your manager may give you responsibilities according to your talent, leadership will treat you based on your age and will pay you the same as other people your age, regardless of what work tasks you complete on a daily basis.

Pros

Interesting work, big clients, known company, experienced people

Cons

Painful acquisition process. Still painful acquisition process. Lots of employees that have been around for years, have long term client relationships, and industry expertise. A year after the merge and no one's sure what is going on. Problems in a top heavy office exacerbated by lack of corporate strategy. It is although they do not know what to do with us all yet

Pros

Large scale company able to capture largest most interesting projects. Many good people work here. Company is very active supporting charities in the community.

Cons

The company's executive leadership is far too influenced by flavor-of-the-month management consulting concepts. Extreme emphasis on top-down command and control to drive "excellence" with little real understanding of how to execute. Leadership is not focused on taking care of employees or clients, and has no vision past the next quarter. C-level execs spend princely sums on parties and conferences while cutting pay and benefits. Group-think and go along to get along is the culture here and is rewarded.
