Pros
Great projects, many strong professionals
Cons
Leadership is interested only in profits. People are numbers to be squeezed. The president is a classic bully who rules through fear and intimidation, and this attitude permeates the culture. Change after change is rolled out -- employees try to keep up but there's no respite from Corporate demands. Good people want to do the work but are overwhelmed by bureaucracy...required processes are time-consuming, clunky and difficult to navigate. Management is constantly changing. It's a stressed work environment, despite the number of solid professionals who are still trying to deliver for their clients. Many people in my division have their resumes out and are planning to leave as soon as they can. It's especially hard for those who were with URS, acquired last year -- they've had to absorb the shock of lost holidays, higher payments for worse benefits, a depressed work environment, etc. Recommend that job-seekers look to other companies in the industry that are better managed and treat their employees like people.
