      Large company, spans many geographic locations

      Cons

      Many including inconsistency across the divisions in all areas including benefits, titles, promotion requirements, office space standards. Treatment and promotion of minorities and women is poor as is opportunities for advancement. Hodge podge of acquisitions has led to lack of corporate identity and direction as well as a lack of clear focus on where the business is headed.

      Pros

      Nice co-workers. Some good projects.

      Cons

      Overall lack of direction. Management was very hierarchical and segmentated. Employees were usually afraid of losing their jobs, which could happen anytime, out of the blue, due to shaky corporate financials. The quality and reputation of each of the design related legacy firms (EDAW, Ellerbe, etc) was greatly diminished with the AECOM merger.

      Pros

      Decent people to work with. Got to work my eight hours and then go home.

      Cons

      Poor compensation...not competitive at all. They offered to pay for training as an incentive for employment, but when I was ready to take classes it was like pulling teeth to get approvals. The contract I was on had the worse HR staff EVER. Very unprofessional management.
