      A good place to work, but suffers from the challanges of being so large

      Pros

      Generally, the teams and individuals at AECOM are great to work with and work well together. Working at AECOM allows you to work on large projects that you may not be exposed to at smaller firms.

      Cons

      The company is so large that it sometimes feels your efforts are recognized only by your immediate team members.

      Pros

      This company has pretty good benefits, deep resources, tremendous worldwide reach and breadth of talent. It also, at least in South Florida, seems to have stabilized the absorption of URS relatively well. Project management processes are on the right track to being normalized across the firm.

      Cons

      It is actually too big and the IT system integration is very disruptive and disorganized. There still seems to be some siloing of staff in various areas and the perception that project staff are subject to bait and switch still seems to be there with some clients.

      Pros

      I can contribute with my skill and experience. The employee benefits and welfare is good take care my family.

      Cons

      The company is too big to view what going on by other party and project. It's difficult know the other expert out side of my own project.
