Pros
Some great people still work at AECOM. Being able to work with those people regularly keeps me at the job.
Cons
As part of HR I see the constant reduction in force, benefits, etc. It is disheartening to say the least. The company has no loyalties to current employees, preferring to bring in outside employees and their friends. There is a severe lack of upward mobility in a company that is on the downturn. The bottom line is of course the driving factor but to have internal people let go while at the same time hiring in from outside is compounding that problem. The churn at the corporate level of qualified employees does not help the feeling of lack of job security.
