Pros

Flexible work hours. Great people to work with. It's truly amazing that so many talented staff are still at AECOM. As the pointed-headed boss in Dilbert would say, AECOM management likes the employees to be bright, but clueless. Opportunities to work on some great projects with some good clients.

Cons

So much talent wasted on work for an organization whose management doesn't seem to care about the employees, about the clients, about subcontractors, or about ethical business practices. Upper management doesn't seem to care whether the company disintegrates in 6 month or a year, as long as the monthly and quarterly profits look good on the books. Advice to junior staff: don't waste your career working for this organization. Find a better company soon. Advice to people considering employment at AECOM: look elsewhere.

Pros

AECOM does not have any.

Cons

Poor management. Just interested in buying other firms to make money off them. No communication between employees who do the actual work and management. There is no effective HR. Misleading and fraudulent company.

Pros

I've been trying and trying and trying, but I cannot come up with anything good to say about this company. I worked at URS for 15 years and one month before we were acquired by AECOM. It then took nine months for the Grim Reaper to find me.

Cons

This is a company that does not value its employees. When AECOM acquired URS in Jan 2015, there were ~100,000 employees. Now my former colleagues tell me they're down to ~85,000. Employee morale is in the toilet as everyone wonders if they're next. Salaries are low. Benefits aren't. There is constant reorganization; one AECOM old-timer told me he'd been through 26 reorganizations in 22 years.
