      Pros

      Big company, spare no expense. Can work independently with little question of the quality of your work

      Cons

      Managers are just that; managers. They don't know the nuts and bolts (technical) of the business. They keep projects rolling. Lower level guys stay on the road 24/7. Very very very limited room for professional growth or advancement. Your degree does not give you any more say than someone who doesn't have a degree. Politically driven company.

      Some good people. OK for entry level.

      Cons

      They don't care about anything but profits - quality, their employees, clients, reputation, everything takes a back seat. It may be an OK place for entry level employees, but if you are managing projects, stay away - far far away.

      Pros

      Remarkable HR and communications organization that is able to convince scores of high-caliber professionals to join the firm. Colleagues and peers are generally solid, well intentioned folks like yourself.

      Cons

      Investment Banking hours, civil service compensation, San Quentin culture. The best indicator of a firm's health is "would you recommend [AECOM] to a friend?" I wouldn't recommend it to a stranger.
