I have been working for AFA for 15 years, and I can honestly say it is by far the most professional and employee friendly company I have worked for in this industry. Even during the turbulent times of Covid-19, corporate always looked out for their workers by doing everything they can to avoid layoffs, salary cuts, and medical coverage cost increases. They are industry leaders and always make sure techs are supplied with the necessary education to keep them current certification. My supervisors are approachable, accommodating, and provide a general feeling of being part of a larger team. I am very satisfied with my employment at AFA and any competent worker would too.

I have worked for AFA Protective Systems now going on 18 years and can attest to the fact that as employers go there is no better place to work. The interaction between the highest level of Management and the employees is one of the most prominent features that sets this company apart from it's peers . That singular difference is what makes everything work so well, there is no disconnect between what is happening in the field and how that relates to the board room. Our goal every day it to deliver the best product in the industry and that synergy of thought is shared on all levels from Corporate Executives to the Field Technicians. I have worked for some of the largest companies in this industry and can tell the difference between being just another employee and feeling like you make a difference.... at AFA Protective Systems everyone makes a difference !

Cons

I don't really have anything that would register as a negative except that I wish we had an office in West Palm Beach connected to a golf resort I could work in !

Wages are ok. Overtime usually available. They tend to leave you alone.

Cons

HR is terrible, for many reasons. Messes up your paycheck constantly.
