Pros

Good strong corp of steady employees..., the ones who are left. Employees sincerely have the company's well being at heart. Leadership is doing the best that it can given it's challenges.

Cons

Good employees are being subjected and eliminated by a GE type employee assessment model. This new process is now the vehicle that is being used to reduce headcount and is its only value. It is a poor means to fairly evaluate employees' performance. It creates an environment of employees doing only what is required to have a good PA and Peer Review. It completely eliminates employee's desire to help one another. The environment is now adversarial vs. entrepreneurial. Additionally, an atmosphere of “Bullying Bosses” is allowed. This is true if the manager appears to be delivering results. Managers, having a history of bullying employees, have had records of this behavior minimalized or expunged altogether from their HR records.

Pros

Bonus, compensation, free lunches & dinner. The holiday parties were amazing. There was nothing else pro.

Cons

Bonus = blood money, no room for family, destructive to personal lives, political to the max. Hours were inherently evil - days where I worked from 5:30am to 9pm and then some. Marriages dissolved like sugar in hot water, good people became overly materialistic as soon as first bonuses were handed out.

Pros

the company is recovring now. All AIG building locate in downtwon New York, a brock to Wall Street. Coworker are friendly and the working comminity is great. the company provide great benefit package, even to the fresh graduates and the new hirers.

Cons

The cube layout is not good enough. Managers and Senior Managers have the same cube with staff and senior associates. If you have many years experirence but not the top executive, you vacation days is the same as the first year graduates, In addtion, the base salary increase too slow.
