Only for the desperate

Pros

You get a pay check, but that is about it.

Cons

This was without question the worst job I have ever had, and I have been in the workforce a long time. I come home exhausted, both mentally and physically, you read the same script over and over, and over, and you gain weight by just sitting There are many older workers like myself here, because we could not find anything else, but it is a difficult, grueling, and painful grind that everyone without exception hates, the few words you do exchange with coworkers, on one of your two 15 min. breaks is usually how much you hate your job and if anyone has heard of anything else and I mean ANYTHING! Working in a call center is pretty much the low end of the workforce spectrum to begin with, and this company is no exception. The calls come at sweat shop pace, almost no time between, and you are micromanaged and audited without mercy. The turnover is as fast paced as the calls, people come and go before you know it. If you are 1 minute late you will be given an unexcused absence, they don't care why. Team leads are as nice as they can be given their situation and limited power, but the management above them is the most uncaring and hapless I have ever experienced. You have been warned, this is a terrible place to work, but if you are desperate and can find nothing else, and yes I am in that category, then do what you have to, but remember this should only be ones last resort.

Pros

Team leads are nice, always willing to help. Hours are good. PTO Benefits

Cons

I think all the company cares about are metrics rather than the patients. There’s a script to follow and callers get frustrated with us due to it. Never mind taking the time to help the caller because the call time will mess up your metrics which can effect potential bonuses or promotions.
