Pros

There is plenty of parking and there is security personnel in the lobby and at both company entry doors

Cons

The communication is nearly nonexistent among various departments. Management is lazy and does not exhibit leadership or managerial skills.

Pros

Small company feel with big company benefits. AIM is a part of Anthem so you get the support of a major US company but AIM itself is small enough that you get access to leaders and the ability to make a difference.

Cons

AIM is going through a lot of change as it positions itself for future growth - that can bring some uncertainty but it also brings a lot of opportunity

Pros

Ability to work for a company where clinicians ensure that clinically appropriate care is being delivered. Thoughtful clinical leadership with a mission based on clinical appropriateness. Wonderful group of people to work with. Team environment and ability to work with a dedicated, passionate and compassionate group of people from a diverse clinical and non-clinical background.

Cons

There is a negative perception of UM which sometimes makes it difficult to influence clinicians and help them understand that this is a value added service meant to help patients (members) to ensure that they are getting appropriate care.
