It's not what it used to be

Pros

Quarterly bonuses. Medical benefits are affordable. Paid time off. A year ago I had plenty of good things to say about AIT, now that is all I have.

Cons

Management used to take the time to develop their people. Now they just expect you to do your job you were hired for. Cutting hours. Stopped quarterly bonuses and no merit raises till Q4. Their people are dollar signs and nothing more. Lazy people get away with it, hard working people get written up. No work-life balance. Expected to be on-call 24/7 and even when you're on vacation! (They don't tell you this till after you have been working there for about a month). The office is depressing. No one smiles unless they are leaving for the day.

Smaller company. everyone knows everyone. Less competitive.

Cons

No REAL culture has been established. Company is growing tremendously, but they are "figuring it out as they go"... no real structure in place for advancement.

Pros

Talk about a company that truly cares for, and about their employees. No other 3PL comes close to AIT in all aspects. From The Executive Management team, down to the "troops" in the field. I feel very privileged to be part of the AIT team!

Cons

I didn't start at AIT sooner....
