Pros

The Monday breakfast, and the cookies and cupcakes to make you fat.

Cons

Akam Living Services need to learn how to run the operations aspect of the company.Absolutely no structure in Akam office, it is poorly ran. People drop like flies in that place. the turnover is disgusting! I've never seen anything like it. All they think about is getting new business and treating their employees like crap. The morale and cultural is LOW! the LOWEST!!! Their customer service sucks! it's all pretend and fake! They make it seem like they are so great! but when you get in after the first week you are miserable! It seems like they want you to be unhappy. That's what the "Executive Management" wants, they want you to be scared, unhappy and miserable. because they are themselves. it's just a very toxic work environment. they are cutthroat! Friday is a wonderful day! everyone literally flies to the elevator. Monday comes misery!!!! everyone is soo unhappy, smh! that place is the worst place I ever worked. I was traumatized by that place. it's hell to pay!

Pros

They throw some food around to employees and have happy hours here and there. Most people would rather just go home or have too much work to do anyway. The office closes at 1pm for summer Fridays. You can leave early, but you'll be terribly behind and pay for it later. People do advance within the company. Promotion is very slow. Many leave before they are promoted.

Cons

Property management is a miserable field. I can't say if Akam does it better or worse than others. Executive management makes you feel as though you're lucky to be there and everywhere else in the industry is terrible. They absolutely create a culture of fear in the office and beat it into you by repetition that Akam is the best. Enough with making men wear suits and ties Monday-Thursday for most of the year. It's 2018. You're not impressing anyone and it's really expensive, impractical and uncomfortable to keep that up. Get computers and software that don't crash regularly. Again, it's 2018.

Pros

Some of the co workers are great which makes it bearable! The job is fine in itself it’s just the way the management treat people is wrong on all levels!

Cons

Never seen such huge egos in one place at the same time. Arrogance at the highest level! Treading on egg shells is the understatement!
