Highly political, siloed organization, constant re-organizations and restructurings with the same incompetent managers being moved around and promoted. Company is a revolving door with a high turnover and loss of good talent. Many, but not all, of the managers behave like elitist arrogant snobs, treating their subordinates and assistants like they're from the lower castes. Some are psychotic, regularly screaming at and abusing people, even throwing things at them as well exhibiting overt racism towards certain nationalities. Mobbing is commonplace in this company as well, and seems to be sanctioned by the corporate culture despite what is written in the company policy. In Switzerland, none of these behaviors mentioned above are illegal, and thus, the victim has no legal recourse whatsoever. Involving HR will accomplish nothing as their sole raison d'être is to protect the management, and they will add insult to injury by blaming the victim.

Favoritism has ruined the unity and this is propagated by the company top officials. Nobody to administer where HR Policies are being adhered or not. No scope of innovation and growth. No proper HR policies. In short not atall an employer friendly company. There is no work life balance. Worst place for female to work. I will never advice my wife or sister to get associated with Alstom at any point of time. Lastly, as the hierarchy chain is a very long one the below grades like B1 and below are the deprived lot.
