Very low pay scale, but virtually no work-life balance...

The managers were extremely disorganized. For example, I was called and asked if I could pick up an extra shift even though it was after I resigned. The job training was horrible. 10 minutes of explanation, and then thrown to work concessions. Most of the other job training was taught to me by the other employees I happened to work with. I wasn't even told how to get into the building when opening, when doors were locked. (Turns out, it was the "no trespassing" door with no handle that was slightly propped open.) The pay is minimum wage, non-negotiable. In the end, the reason for resigning was for fear of getting fired. I was informed that I was $20 off on two separate days. I was in calculus, and am by no means poor at math. The issue was mainly that the managers go in and out of everyone's drawer throughout the day, and we are not allowed to count our money at the end of our shift. When asking other employees, many reported that they were written up for the same reason. One even said that she was never off by more than $2, yet on Christmas she had been off by around $50.
