Pros

Free Movies. Casual Dress code. Discounts on some food items while on the clock, 30 minutes before or after shifts. At AMC Universal Cineplex 20 we got all perks of Universal Employee. The Supervisors and managers would help out with tasks (usually)

Cons

-Minimum Wage and they get every penny's worth. -Understaffed (ex: One usher on a Sunday night after 11, 2 ushers 9-11, and ushering is the most physically demanding of all the film crew duties) -Rarely get breaks, and when you do it's during very slow periods. If it's busy, forget it. -No discounts on food items when off the clock. -Very little time to practice or learn. -Even when you are a new employee, they expect you to handle customers perfectly. Here the customer IS always right) -You are basically the manager's maid; although a few were actually very kind and seemed to care.
