      Pros

      None at all if you want a rewarding career.

      Cons

      Management does not care about morale or their workforce. All they care about is how much money they can squeeze out of this place. Everyone is just a number and is replaceable.

      Pros

      Remote Sales Manger position afforded a good work life balance, good pay and a company vehicle + gas. Aerospace and aviation related high ticket sales and highly engineered products.

      Cons

      Goals set by those who are uneducated to the current state of the industry and unwilling to adopt or architect a revised approach to expanding aftermarket business to supplement the problematic cycles associated with OEM customers.

      Pros

      Ametek has a good benefits package and overall is a ok company to work for. Pay is lacking some, but the work is steady and very few layoffs.

      Cons

      Ametek is mostly concerned with making money and fails to plan out for the long term for production. parts are purchased at the very last moment and very little is done for quality checks upon receipt of parts. This causes a lot of overtime and orders to the customer to be late. Rushing orders also directly impacts quality of product. This seems to go in waves and needs more attention.
