Poor Management and company culture. The management is in denial with regards to the workload imposed upon employees. Compensation does not follow increased workload. Upper management does not know what it takes to get tasks completed…they are not tuned in…. poor communication. They struggle to retain employees. Production / shipping product to satisfy monthly revenue goals is paramount to anything else. The H.R. department is useless for production employees…they are just an extension of the management.

Communication between upper management and local branches doesn't exist. HR NEVER answers emails. Every quarter employees are lied to that more help is going to be hired but what ends up happening is 0 people get hired and more people end up leaving as they can't handle the workload. Ametek is numbers driven, employeed are just numbers that mean nothing. Health insurance is rubbish and although employees used to have a Christmas party every year as well as company picnic, with Ametek all that is gone. Employees have 0 motivation and Ametek is doing absolutley nothing to address the issues employees have, instead, they are focusing on working employees even harder to meet the quarterly numbers.
