Pros

There truly is a work/life balance. I have never experienced a company that lets you be free and your self. It moivates you to work harder.

Cons

Sometimes there is more than one dog in the office and I have to split my love. Honestly no cons, work is work. And there is going to be harder days. But it still is a pleasant environment.

Pros

I’ve been working for AMI Network for less than a year as a Recruitment Coordinator. I can’t say enough about my manager Greg and the rest of the team. It is incredible how much patience Greg had while answering million questions I had as a new person to world of recruitment. All my hard work was greatly appreciated and all the mistakes I did were taken as an opportunity for improvement. That really meant a lot for building confidence at the beginning of my career and gaining new skills. What I like the most is how they made me feel as a part of team even though some of my colleges work and know each other for years. Now after almost a year I can say it is great to be a part of AMI team!

Cons

Like all jobs which demand communication with lots of people there are good and bad days. You may have to speak with an operator or receptionist who still didn’t have a cup of coffee (or had too much to drink the night before), but that is the case in any job where you deal with people.

Pros

You’ll be working with some great people which spend a ton of time and effort with you to get you up to speed. AMI is a small company with a lot of growing pains so anyone should keep that in mind when taking a position there. They have great work life balance and you’ll also be given the opportunity to go on an annual company trip. One thing to note about the company trip is that you’ll likely be paying out of pocket for some expenses and will be getting comfy with your coworkers in a shared space/AirBnB.

Cons

The candidate drop off and rejected offer rate is above average and the company itself also has an above average turnover rate. Employees and candidates aren’t really valued as much as they should be. The environment is also a little like a call center with no time during the day to really build relationships with your coworkers since you are all trying to make numbers and not get behind. Unfortunately there is also a large disconnect between the candidates, AMI and the hiring company due to competing interests. Tread lightly with this company and know what you’re getting into beforehand.

We're sorry you didn't have the best experience while working here. We always want our internal employees to be satisfied with their tenure here but understand that can't be the case 100% of the time. Recruiting is definitely not for everyone, especially if it's difficult to handle the ebbs and flows of the business, which it certainly has. As for the candidate drop off rate, most likely a sample size of working for 3 months did not give enough of an insight as the average drop off rate works itself out over a longer period of time. In fact, the candidate drop off rate here is actually lower than industry average. We also pride ourselves on not being "like a call center" and having an environment and culture that is very open and inviting where each employees thoughts, concerns and suggestions are welcomed and encouraged. We always recommend if you have any issues or concerns, to come talk to either the manager or owner to voice these concerns so we have an opportunity to course correct. If we only learn about it after reading reviews, there isn't an opportunity to rectify any issues you had while employed. Lastly, we are sorry you felt there was a disconnect due to competing interests. We've been able to be as successful as we have because our interests are always aligned with those of the candidates and employers. We only win if candidates and employers have a win-win, that's recruiting 101. We always want what is best for everyone else, and in turn that's when we see success. Thank you again for your review, we always appreciate feedback, both positive and negative.
