      Increasing weekend demand for registry therapists

      Pros

      Hourly rate is good for resource/registry positions, can work as much or as little as you like.

      Cons

      Policy changes occurred which increased weekend demand from 1 weekend to 2 weekends a month, without regard for how many hours you worked during the week.

      Pros

      Many good employees, loyalty of many staff on the front line

      Cons

      understaffed frequently- staffing ratios do not support great patient care yet departments are closely monitored for delivery of great patient experiences. Obvious favoritism seen within the director and management positions. Much micromanagement. Administration is barely visible.

      Pros

      Good people around that make the day go by better. Good relationships with surrounding departments. The good days make the cons forgettable or bearable.

      Cons

      Staffing levels are low, very likely you will work with very limited backup more often than I'd like to mention. Violent or combative patients are more common than they were in the past and Security is not well equipped/staffed to handle more than a few incidents at a time.
