Pros
There are a lot of nice people working here. It is in a nice community with a lot of amenities nearby. Senior management seems to be pretty good. The organization has positioned itself well for the challenging market. The recent merger into Ascension Health should add some economies of scale. The Adventist partnership which resulted in name change does have some advantages
Cons
I work in radiology. The department level and facilitator level management is awful. The manager and director have been locked in a power struggle for a long time. They cancel each other out so problems don't get solved. They are abusive and demeaning to employees. There is a lot of pressure on techs and no support. Wages are a bit lower than others around here.QC and QI programs are non-existent here, so dose levels are high and quality is not. It has a great group of radiologists who are being underserved.
