Thank you for providing your positive feedback on our employee development programs as well as our bonus/incentive plans. We take great pride in creating opportunities for employees to grow and contribute to AMLI’s success. Regarding our other activities you mention, we believe that our reward and recognition events are an important aspect of thanking employees for their work and sharing their accomplishments. We do encourage employees to get involved in their community by volunteering to company sponsored charities as well as ones that are personally important. I hope you will come to see these activities as worthwhile and appreciate that these events help us build stronger teams and the culture we strive for. If you would like to discuss in person, please reach out to your RM, SVP or someone in Human Resources. Best wishes for your continued success at AMLI.

Pros

AMLI builds and manages beautiful real estate. All of the company managed units are really nice properties. AMLI has a pretty realistic budget for onsite staff and real potential for bonuses vs other property management companies. AMLI fosters a culture of fAMLI and caring for each other from senior management on down.

Cons

AMLI has no loyalty to its people, there is not a lot of support for onsite management when it comes to employee issues. Money is more important than the safety of other employees, residents and physical property. Upper management is superficial in person and act like they love you as part of the team, but always cave to the almighty dollar. Benefits are expensive and do not cover much, even in major medical.

Thank you for taking time to share your comments and suggestions. AMLI prides itself on our culture for employees and creating an outstanding living environment for our residents. You mention that we have realistic budgets, so please know that we build in all capital improvements, safety programs and preventative maintenance in those budgets; allowing us to effectively maintain the class A properties in our portfolio. Also, our benefit programs are competitive, offering both a PPO and High deductible plan that cover major medical at 80% with all preventative care visits covered at 100%. If you wish to provide more specific details or recommendations – please feel free to reach out to a leader in your former region, our Risk management group or Human Resources. Leslie Silverman

Pros

-Great corporate support system -Brand equity, company has lots of cash and not afraid to spend it -Maintains properties very well

Cons

-Doesn't require college degrees for office staff because they don't want to pay the money. If you pay a high school salary, you get a high school environment -huge inconsistencies in professionalism and culture region to region. Denver was awful.
