Pros

Large management company, will train you ( for the most part) , well known company, great policies, great training department, policies are accurate, utilizes one site.

Cons

They are paid " up to date" so even if you give your full two weeks you don't get paid your full two weeks so there's no point, EVERYONE talks about EVERYONE, Half the time you'll be doing your managers work even if you aren't paid for it, everything with the company is about who you know not based on work ethic. Will hire people with no experience and they will make more than you even if you've been in the industry for 3+ years. HUGE turn over rate.

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments. It sounds like you found value in many of our programs. I hope that while you were employed, you reached out to your Regional Manager, Regional President and/or Human Resources to share your concerns in more detail. We have shared this with Senior Leadership, but please know you are welcome to reach out to HR to share some examples. Regarding paying up to date –AMLI’s pays for scheduled hours up front and any adjustment in arrears. Many companies choose to hold back all and pay in arrears. AMLI employees are paid for every hour worked, it just means that we do not hold back checks when you first start with the company.

Pros

Health insurance is decent, income isn't bad compared to other companies.

Cons

Fear based management, too many politics, gossip, employees are seen as just another number and are given the highest workload possible while keeping the office understaffed.

Thank you for taking time to share your comments. We are glad you recognize the strong compensation and benefit plans we offer to AMLI employees. I am sorry to read your perception of the work environment. We work with our site employees to create a work environment where employees feel valued and can find the workload supportive of work-life balance. I see that you no longer work for AMLI, so I hope you took advantage of the various resources available such as your RM, the President and/or Human Resources to share more details on your experiences. You can still reach out to us and give us an opportunity to discuss these issues with you. I have shared your comments/concerns with our Chicago leadership team. I hope you find success at your next company. Regards, Martha Arteaga, VP, Human Resources

Pros

Sorry there really aren't any they just need 20 words to accept the post. So here you go. AMLI fails

Cons

Fake company culture. They don't care about anything at all besides lining their own pockets. Lots of extra hours being on call. Never once was paid overtime in 6 years of working there. They just make you take comp time and say they want you to spend time with your family. Total bs. Upper management has no idea what is really going on at the properties. Regional manager maybe visits once every few months. The president Mr Hallsey is a complete joke. Everyone in the company makes lots of jokes and has zero respect for him. One time he came to the property we literally had to put out a red carpet and stand there cheering with noise makers. How can you respect someone that gets off on that. Very weird. There is unfairness, favortism and nepotism at every level. It's all about whos the best brown noser. Worst company I have ever worked for. The motto between all the employees is if you can handle working here you will have no problem working anywhere else.

Thank you for taking the time to share your comments. I am sorry to read that you did not have a positive experience at AMLI, although I see you did work for us for 5 years. I hope that you developed knowledge and skills during your tenure. I am not sure if you ever raised your concerns to higher levels of management or Human Resources while employed. AMLI sends employees home when they hit 40 hours in a work week, or we pay overtime; so if you believe you are owed any such time/pay, please reach out to us immediately. Additionally, I have shared your comments with the leadership team. Hopefully your next position/company will be a better fit for you.
