Pros

Large management company, will train you ( for the most part) , well known company, great policies, great training department, policies are accurate, utilizes one site.

Cons

They are paid " up to date" so even if you give your full two weeks you don't get paid your full two weeks so there's no point, EVERYONE talks about EVERYONE, Half the time you'll be doing your managers work even if you aren't paid for it, everything with the company is about who you know not based on work ethic. Will hire people with no experience and they will make more than you even if you've been in the industry for 3+ years. HUGE turn over rate.

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments. It sounds like you found value in many of our programs. I hope that while you were employed, you reached out to your Regional Manager, Regional President and/or Human Resources to share your concerns in more detail. We have shared this with Senior Leadership, but please know you are welcome to reach out to HR to share some examples. Regarding paying up to date –AMLI’s pays for scheduled hours up front and any adjustment in arrears. Many companies choose to hold back all and pay in arrears. AMLI employees are paid for every hour worked, it just means that we do not hold back checks when you first start with the company.

Pros

Fair to all employees; salary reviews each year and are in line with the industry; everyone is treated equally; fair chances are given to those that aren't doing well with the company; opportunity for advancement is yours for the taking if you put yourself out there to advance; Education department to help you advance. Internal promotion programs; really wonderful health benefits with programs to help you lower your costs. Many ways to earn extra money if you take advantage of them. AMLI executives appreciate the employees and you don't feel like an employee you feel like a part of a company that you want to help build and be a part of.

Cons

Lots of activities each month that can sometimes be overwhelming and a challenge to get finished on time.

Pros

Lots of company gigs including giving back to those in need. Platform and domain are helpful.

Cons

Benefits are terrible and are way over priced. Hard work doesnt get you anywhere. Being a badass employee only gets you somewhere if your part of the inside click. Going above and beyond doesnt matter. They dont believe in anyone under management. Theyre quick to charge a resident or violate them to impress corporate, yet maintenance feels the direct affect. Community managers can literally have no maintenance background yet make vital decisions in regards to matters as such. AMLiMART is a disaster and waste of vital time.

Thank you for taking the time to share your comments. I am sorry that were not happy working at AMLI. We have shared your review with the Austin leadership team. Our focus on culture and recognition of employees, especially at the on-site, associate level is one of our priorities. We have a significant number of employees who have been promoted, at least once in their career, often 2 or 3 times, based on their contributions to the success of the organization. We have Service Managers at each property who partner with our Community Managers, as well as our Directors of Building Operations to help to make all critical maintenance decisions. Employees are encouraged and rewarded for making suggestions to improve how we run our operations and service our residents. While I don’t know if during your employment you reached out to your Regional Manager, Regional President and/or HR to discuss your issues and to provide suggestions, you are still welcome to contact us to share more details.
