Good company but losing its touch with the people..

Pros

Great open door policy for onsite and corporate office. Sustainability efforts are industry leading. Beautiful properties throughout the country!

Cons

Company tends to very reactive instead of proactive. There seems to be a disconnect between onsite associates and middle/upper management. Managers should focus on building on their employees skills to help them efficiently develop careers. Due to the size of AMLI, the opportunities are very limited to move up. There are several policies in desperate need to be modified and/or removed all together. Education/training department in need of a major revamp.

Welcoming culture, plenty of training, reasonable compensation, great benefits and flexibility.

Cons

Limited product/jobs to promote within for employees who wants to grow with the company.

I see you are in Atlanta where we do have many developments in the works and a regional office with support departments. AMLI moved away from more formal career apparel a few years back, in order to give employees flexibility in wearing their own clothes. We have passed your comments on to senior management. Chicago corporate didnt seem to care about the employees onsite. Raises for onsite employees aren't great and when you get promoted your pay increase is minimal.
