AMLI is a great company in many ways and in many ways it is not. Just as any large company might be.

Pros

AMLI builds and manages beautiful real estate. All of the company managed units are really nice properties. AMLI has a pretty realistic budget for onsite staff and real potential for bonuses vs other property management companies. AMLI fosters a culture of fAMLI and caring for each other from senior management on down.

Cons

AMLI has no loyalty to its people, there is not a lot of support for onsite management when it comes to employee issues. Money is more important than the safety of other employees, residents and physical property. Upper management is superficial in person and act like they love you as part of the team, but always cave to the almighty dollar. Benefits are expensive and do not cover much, even in major medical.

Also, our benefit programs are competitive, offering both a PPO and High deductible plan that cover major medical at 80% with all preventative care visits covered at 100%. Training - provided immediately that help me to fit in and do well. Bonuses -leasing, renewals, achievements. Culture, growth.

Cons

Did not experienced any abnormalities. I liked that they recognized their weak employees and eliminated them to make a space for better ones. It is so rare nowadays!

Pros

It's nice to be a part of something that you're proud to represent. AMLI's resident programs are designed to create and keep a highly satisfied resident population. Like-minded employees are selected, trained and encouraged to be the best they can be to support this goal. It's nice to work with others who want to be and contribute to a winning team. There are numerous employee programs designed to award and reward. Integrity is abundant.

Cons

As with most organizations, there are some growing pains with expansion. Urgency is an important attribute; continue to balance varying department initiatives.
