Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We take pride in our bonus and recognition programs and pleased to hear you found a work life balance while working at AMLI. I am sorry to hear you did not feel we had growth opportunities, as AMLI promotes from within frequently. I wanted to clarify that AMLI does offer personal days after 90 days of employment and sick/vacation begins accruing at that same time. Regards, Leslie Silverman

Pros

A lot of support to help reach sales goals, resources readily available to learn more about the company, corporate and regional managers easily within reach.

Cons

Work 8-10 day stretches, a lot of cliques within the management organization.

Thank you for taking the time to share your comments and experiences. I have passed on your comments to the Dallas and senior management teams, as we are always looking for ways to improve our work environment. AMLI operates 7 days per week, so we sometimes schedule employees to work for more than 5 days in a row, depending on when their off days fall week 1 vs week 2. It is a challenge that many companies in our industry face. We hope someday you will consider returning to AMLI, as we often have former employees rejoin the AMLI FAMLI. Thank you again. Too much volunteerism and employee donations requested

Pros

Great leadership. Executives are readily available and have quarterly conference and recognition events which they attend and seem to really take an interest in the success of employees.

Cons

Often try to shove their "culture" down your throat. Excessive requests to donate to their preferred charities. Distracting office events (ex: chair racing, filming videos for events) then with the guise of a contest for college hoops brackets or super bowl squares, they take and give half the money to their preferred charity and only give half back to employees, but take the tax break themselves without offering you the employee a receipt for your charitable donations. During events people yelling and screaming in middle of office making concentration or phone calls impossible.

Thank you for taking time to share your feedback. I am disappointed to read that you feel we are pushing volunteering and corporate culture in a negative manner. AMLI was built on the foundation that “giving back to the communities in which we live and work” is a core value. In each of our AMLI cites we have selected charities and organizations that we support both financially and with volunteerism. That being said, all activities and donations are voluntary and no one should feel obligated. Since you are in the Chicago Corporate office, please feel free to share your concerns/comments with me and/or anyone in senior management. Thank you again for taking time to share your thoughts.
