      Laid Off. Told current employees they'd do everything to help. 5+ applications in a month and all ghosted says otherwise

      Pros

      Being remote was a huge stress relief in terms of childcare.

      Cons

      Sudden layoffs. Constantly saying layoffs won't happen again only to happen again. Was told by current employees, company is saying they will do everything to help move laid off individuals to other divisions. Well a month of applying and either getting no response or ghosted by my former employer after an interview is so saddening.
